The key is trying to make the day itself work for yourselves. Make the second trip down the aisle as large and elegant, or as small and simple as you like. It is important that you feel comfortable. If children are happy about the marriage, be sure to include them in the event.

Remember that times have changed and so have the "rules" of what is considered acceptable when getting married for a second time. While some couples choose to still elope or celebrate with a small party, others opt for a more elaborate reception. It is up to you.
