Personalizing A Wedding Celebration

There are many ways of personalizing your wedding celebration day. These two couples used two very unique ways of having their guests remember their day... One special couple gave all of their guests local made honey in decorative boxes to bring home as favors. It was thoughtful, attractive and very much appreciated.

The other couple participated in a sand ceremony in their wedding. The bride has an individual color of sand..and so does the groom... when they each take turns pouring in the actual sand, it makes a very lovely design. At the end of the pouring, the couple pours the sand together, symbolizing the grains of sand will never be able to be separated. This makes a very nice alternative to the unity candle, especially if an engaged couple is planning an outdoor wedding, where candles are not easily seen, or lit.
